What makes a Waterside invitation
Six designs, six kinds of water and light. Amalfi is lemons and sea light over Positano, with blossom petals on the breeze. Dune is pampas plumes and a blush dusk over quiet dunes. Vineyard is harvest light in Chianti: hanging vines, dark grapes, amber hills. Lakehouse is a watercolour lake at golden hour with a cedar dock and leaves drifting past. Harbour is painted sails on quiet water, a white lighthouse and warm evening light. Olive is a Tuscan hillside at golden hour, where olive branches sway and leaves drift as you read.
Two of the scenes name their place, Positano and Chianti. The other four name none, so they suit a coast, a lake or a harbor anywhere. Harbour opens through a garden gate and Lakehouse with a dove; the rest open from the collection's own envelope.
The palette is sun and water: cream, sea blue, olive green and lemon. The scenes move the way the real places do, water glinting, leaves drifting, a boat crossing the bay.
For destination weddings the invitation does the work of a whole website: the venue and its address, where to stay, the schedule, questions and answers, and one reply for each household.
