  3. Things to doYour own tips for the days around the wedding: a boat out, a long walk, the café you keep going back to.

  5. Dress code and good to knowWhat to pack for the place and the season, and answers to the questions guests ask before a trip.

Set to the venue's clock

Choose the time zone of the place, from Mexico and the Caribbean to Europe, Dubai, Thailand and Japan. The times you list are local to the wedding, and the countdown reaches zero at the moment you marry, wherever each guest is reading.

Guests in other countries

It is a web page, so guests abroad open it just as guests at home do. They can reply for everyone in their household right there, meals and allergies included. How replies work.

If your families read Spanish, the invitation can go out in Spanish.

Planning from a distance

When should destination wedding invitations go out?

Send the save the date nine to twelve months out and the invitation about twelve weeks before. Ask for replies five to six weeks before the wedding, which leaves time to book.

Where do we put a hotel room block code?

In the line under each place to stay. Write the code, or the name to give when guests call, next to the distance from the venue.

Can guests who live abroad reply?

Yes. The reply form opens in any browser in any country, and the phone number field takes any format.

Whose time zone does the invitation use?

The venue's. Your schedule is in local time, and the countdown ends at the same instant for a guest in Chicago and a guest in Rome.

Can the schedule cover a whole weekend?

Yes. Each moment has a time, a name and a note, and the time can be written in words, like Friday 7 PM for a welcome dinner.
